Emotions? - Anger

Anger

Everyone has a fixation point whether it is emotional fear, anxiety, depression, addiction or anger. It is all a conditioned response to certain triggers. Somewhere in your life you have trained yourself to be this way for whatever reason and when in certain circumstances or situations, this unconscious event becomes triggered into life. And this is how people live their lives. Unconsciously. Re-living outdated unconscious memories over and over again that causes unhappiness in their lives.

For instance, Tama, (Not real name) was separated from his mother at birth which caused him much grief and pain. Now he is 35 years old and has a history of intense anger in relationships. When he gets into an argument there is an unconscious conditioning that he is going to be hurt and abandoned again but it does not show up as fear or hurt but intense anger. He is only aware of his anger and is unconscious to the story that is running the fears and hurt that leads to anger.

You don’t have live life this way. Stop feeding your Taniwha because it will always bite you. When you pour fuel onto the fire, it burns you. Just because you have a thought does not mean you have to follow it. When any emotions come up, sit with it. Meet it, because all thoughts and emotions come and go. Don’t indulge with it. Just be with it and it will pass.

You have trained yourself to act it out. Now you are training yourself to ride it out. You can do this because it is your natural nature calling you to be your natural nature. It is what you truly want. If you need support, feel free to contact me.
